I have always wondered how did anyone come up with the association Easter = Eggs = Bunny. The story of how Christmas had a mascot named Santa Claus is quite well-known but does anyone have any idea how did Easter get its name and eggs and bunny? I don't, however let me take this time to remind others that Easter should be celebrated everyday because our Lord is a risen Lord. I do not mean that we should eat chocolate eggs everyday (horrors! imagine the magnitude of obesity!), instead, we ought to live each day for Christ in return for what He had done for each and every one of us on the cross.

The reason I finally started blogging was after I read an article in Our Daily Bread (March 19)and I wanted to share with people. It goes like this...

If you want to help a person through his or her struggles:

Treat the person with respect and don't do for him what he should do himself
Remember that you do not have the power to change another person, only God can truly change a person from the inside.
Reach out in love
Depend on God

Galatians 6:9 - Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
